Brief Introduction
Founded in April 2002, invested by the Qianjiang Water Conservancy
Ltd., of Zhangjinag, Shengzhou Middle School is now run with
a new mode under the leadership of Shengzhou Education Committee.
Shengzhou Middle School is located on an area of 60 mu campus
within the town of Shengzhou close to the lushan park . The
physical infrastructure consists of six (6) buildings with a
total floor space of over thirty thonsand (30.000) square meters.
Altogether it
has forty-three(43) teaching classes and boasts a competitively
student body of over two thousand and one hundned students .
The teaching facilities are modernized , the life facilities
in the dormitory are well-found and the management of the school
is mormal and sound . There are green trees, widing paths,Widing
paths, bird’s twitters and fragrance of flowers inside the
campus. So it is an ideal place to study for students . A pleasant
and harmonious environment facilitates the learning process
for our students and faculty.
The belief of the management is “rooted in human, to rely
on the leadership, to pursuit the overall system”. We insist
on the creed “to take quality as the root, take propulsion
as the foundation, take special features as a highlight take
results as the image , take trustworthiness as the promise.”
We follow the school admonish “ to be true, creatine and stronger”
and the school tradition “civilization, upward, discipline
and lively” We pay special attention to the quality and the
all-round development of propulsion to the quality and the all-round

the new education principle.
Excellent staff
The school has assembled a number of excellent staff. It
has a faculty of over one hundred and forty(140) vocational
proficient teachers, of whom twenty-seven percent (27%) possess
post graduate degree or are studying the post-graduate courses,
Thirty-one (31) are being trained to be famous teachers. Twenty-six(26)
are the members of the teaching-research group at the municipal
level, Fifteen(15) are regarded as the leaders of the courses.
Thirty-eight(38) won the “Rising-star” titles, Sixteen(16)
won prizes on the national or provincial level. In recent three
years, over two hundred(200) articles have been published in
all kinds of magazines. All the faculty have excellent teaching
ethics. The staff appears have a ration structure. Glorious Achievements
More than anything else, Shengzhou Middle School is distinguished
by its intellectual capital: its exceptional faculty as well
as the quality and achievement of its students. In the ZMET,
Liuxiaojun and Huang Li won the first in science and Liu Lengyu
won the first in art. Thirty-nine students of Shaoxing entered
the first one hundred in the ZMET in Zhengjing province, of
whom seven were from Shengzhou Middle School. The university
acceptance rate of the graduates of Shengzhou Middle School
is the highest of all the school in Shengzhou. More then 60
students of our students were admitted to “key” leading universities
such as Beijing, Qinghua, zhejiang and Fndan in 2005. The students
in the junior part of our school also did the best among all
the schools in shengzhou. Li Xisheng won the first in the Enterame
Examination for the junior students. In the last three years,
the students won great success in all kinds of contests. Two
hundred and thirty-six(26) students have won prizes on the municipal
level; fifty-five(55) at the provincial level, of whom twenty-two
(22) won the first prize Sheng yifeng won the first in the 2003
Sumncer Camping; Zhang zhebo won the first in the 2004 Chemistry
contest of Zhejing, in which eight students won the first prize;
Sheng Yifeng and two other students won the first prize, at
the provincial level and Liu Xiaojun and two other students
won the first prize at the national level in the 2004 Chemistry
Cantest, Xu Lei and three other students won Zhao Li won the
first prize in the Zhengjiang Science Contest for Junior Students.
In addition, our school also pays attention to Students’
wide interest and development of students’ character and special
features. The aetivities after class are various. In the basketball
match for the senior groups, our school won the first. In the
8th Sports Meet in Shengzhou, the athletes form our school did
a good job and our school won the first in both senior groups
and junior groups. The gym team of our school won the second
on the provicial level and won the “Culture and Ideology”
prize. Over twenty (20) students won the first prize in the
cartoon match and New Year’s show. Development
Today its modern campus culture is guiding students to “seek
to be outstanding and first class”. In the following years,
the school, as proposed in the development plan, Will become
a guiding school in Zhezjing with high reputation through the
joints efforts of the staff.
